NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este cuello es necesario saber hacer unmontaje provisional de puntos, tejer punto derechoen circular, conocer la técnica del colourwork, tejersiguiendo un gráfico y cerrar puntos con el métodokitchener. Es imprescindible saber leer gráficos, ya quelas instrucciones para tejer el cuello con el detalle encolourwork se dan únicamente en forma de gráfico.
CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este cuello se teje en circular. Comenzando por unmontaje provisional de puntos, se cierra en circular y secontinúa tejiendo según las instrucciones. Una vez alcanzadala longitud deseada, se desmonta el montajeprovisional y se une el comienzo con el final por mediode una costura con el método kitchener.

22 puntos y 24 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10
cm [4 x 4”] en punto jersey, sin bloquear.
23 puntos y 28 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10
cm [4 x 4”] en el motivo del cuello, sin bloquear.
21 puntos y 26 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm
[4 x 4”] en el motivo del cuello, después de bloquear.
HILO
3 madejas, 1 en color 1 (color principal), otra en color
2 y otra en color 3 (colores de contraste) de Tibetan
Cloud de Myak Fibres (100% lana de ovejas tibetanas;
300 m / 100 g ; 328 yd / 3.52 oz) .
Los colores utilizados son el Genziana como color 1,
el Dalia como color 2 y el Botton D’oro como color 3
para la versión azul marino y el Wild Daisy como color
1, el Salvia Argentea como color 2 y el Dalia como
color 3 para la versión blanca.
AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm [US 4] con cable de
40 cm [16”] o las necesarias para obtener la muestra
de tensión. Otro juego de agujas (pueden ser
un número menor) para recuperar los puntos del
montaje provisional.
OTROS ACCESORIOS
Restos de hilo en un grosor similar para el montaje
provisional. Un marcador para el inicio de vuelta.
Aguja lanera para rematar las hebras.

YARN
3 skeins, 1 in Colour 1 (main colour), 1 in Colour 2 and
1 in Colour 3 (contrast colours) of Tibetan Cloud by
Myak Fibres (100% Tibetan Sheep Wool; 300 m /
100 g ; 328 yd / 3.52 oz).
The colourways used are Genziana as Colour 1, Dalia
as Colour 2, and Botton D’oro as Colour 3 for the
navy blue version and Wild Daisy as Colour 1, Salvia
Argentea as Colour 2, and Dalia as Colour 3 for the
white version.
NEEDLES
3.5 mm [US 4] with a cable length of 40 cm [16”], or
the required needle size to obtain gauge. Another set
of needles (they can be a size smaller) to pick up the
stitches from the provisional cast-on.
OTHER NOTIONS
Leftover yarn in a similar weight for the provisional
cast-on. 1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
